At Colour My World we believe that children learn best through play. Our programs are designed by our passionate educators, to provide high quality education and care, in direct response to the interests of the children. Therefore our curriculum is interest based with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) being at the very core. Colour My World’s program is based on the knowledge that our children are confident and capable learners extending our environments as a teacher to the children. We offer each child authentic and rich experiences that will give them the best possible start in life.

With the EYLF Framework “Belonging, Being and Becoming” is at the very heart of each activity and day to day activities within our service. This is the Australian Government’s national framework for early childhood education, and a key component of the National Quality Framework (NQF) for early childhood education and care which is designed to encourage continuous improvement of education and care services across Australia.

The EYLF defines the principles, practices and outcomes essential to every early learning program and is designed to ensure all children, from birth to five years of age, receive high quality learning experiences.

  • Children have a strong sense of identity.
  • Children are connected with and contribute to their world.
  • Children have a strong sense of wellbeing.
  • Children are confident and involved learners.
  • Children are effective communicators.
